Christmas Day 圣誕節(jié)

　　Christmas is the biggest festival in the western world, which people all over the Christian countries celebrate. It is on the 25th day of each December. Christians consider it as the birthday of Jesus Christ.

　　圣誕節(jié)是西方世界最大的一個(gè)節(jié)日，所有基督教國家都會(huì)慶祝圣誕節(jié)。圣誕節(jié)是每年的12月25日，基督教徒把這一條看作是耶穌基督的誕辰。

　　It is a very happy day for many boys and girls. All children are very excited.

　　對(duì)許多男孩女孩來說，今天是個(gè)開心的日子，所有的孩子都很興奮。

　　Usually they are sent to bed early so that their parents can get the presents ready. The younger children think that the Santa Claus will come down the chimney or fireplace , so they hang up a sock for him to put presents in. Later that night, Father or Mother will put presents in the sock, and leave others at the side of the bed.

　　通常爸爸媽媽很早就把孩子趕上床，那樣父母就可以去放禮物，小孩子以為是圣誕老人從煙囪或壁爐里來把圣誕禮物從來的，所以他們?cè)诖差^掛一只襪子用來裝禮物。晚上，父母就去把禮物裝到襪子里，其它的放床邊。

　　On Christmas morning, the children wake up very early. Children look for their presents , and the young ones play while the dinner is prepared. At about one oclock in the afternoon, the Christmas dinner is brought in . The turkey or chicken is quickly eaten. Children search in their Christmas pudding for new coins which are hidden in it. The rest of the day is full of games and eating until the happiest of all Christmas hollidays comes to an end.

　　圣誕節(jié)早上，孩子們?cè)缭绲木推鸫擦恕Ｔ诖笕藴?zhǔn)備飯菜的時(shí)候，孩子們找禮物，年輕人玩耍。差不多下午一點(diǎn)左右，圣誕節(jié)正在準(zhǔn)備好了。火雞或肌肉很快被吃完了，孩子們?cè)谑孪葴?zhǔn)備好硬幣的布丁里找新硬幣。剩下的一天都是玩游戲或者吃，直到快樂的一天到頭。
