  Match the words and expressions in Activity 1 with the pictures. What present do they want to buy for lingling?

  Listen and read the dialogue.

  Put the students in pairs to practice the dialogue.

  Read through the words in the box. Check and cemonstrate their meaning. Elicit answers in full sentences.

  Read the sentences individually and pay attention to how the speaker pronounces the words
