高中英語連詞語法學習 關聯(lián)連詞
起關聯(lián)作用的連詞有 and，詞組 both and，neither nor，not only but also，as well as 等，其用法如下：
（1）and
①用于肯定的并列。如：
The drink was cold and sweet.
這飲料喝著又涼又甜。
有些被視為一個整體的兩個名詞并列時，詞序固定。如：
thunder and lightning（電閃雷鳴）
hat and coat(衣帽)
rich and poor（窮富）
and 并列兩個動作時，表示動作的連續(xù)或重復。如：
She brushed her teeth and went to bed.
她刷了牙就睡覺了。
Will you close the window and turn off the light before you leave?
你走之前把窗戶關上，燈關掉好嗎？
②and 與 yet 連用，引導對比性的內容。如：
He is rich, and yet leads a modest life.
他富有但生活不奢侈。
③and 常于動詞 try，wait 等之后與另一個動詞連用（try 等詞此時需為原形）。如：
Try and get some water.
想辦法找些水來。
Lets wait and see.
我們等等看吧。
④and 用在動詞 come，go，run，hurry up，stay，stop 等不及物動詞之后代替 to， 與另一個動詞連接，則第二個動詞表示目的。此時 come 等可有過去式和第三人稱形式。如：
I went and watched the game with Jimmy yesterday.
昨天我和吉米去看比賽了。
Go and buy a new coat for yourself.
去給你自己買件新大衣吧。
在口語中，go 后面的 and 常省略。如：
Go jump in the river.
⑤在祈使句＋ and ＋句子中，祈使句表示條件，后面的句子表示結果。如：
Work hard and youll make progress.
努力工作你就會有進步。
Use your head and youll find a way.
動動腦子你就會有辦法。
（2）并列連詞 both and 與 and 的作用基本相同，但語氣較 and 強。但 both and不能并列連接兩個句子。如：
He can speak both English and French.
他會說英語和法語。
The book is both interesting and instructive.
這本書既有意義，又有趣味。
He is famous both as a novelist and as a statesman.
作為小說家和政治家，他都是有名的。
and 和 both and 的否定形式一律用 neither nor。如：
I neither smoke nor drink.
我既不吸煙也不喝酒。
（3）并列連詞詞組 as well as，not only but also 作用與 and 相同，只是各自的側重點不同。用 as well as 時，側重點在 as well as 前的部分；用 not only but also時，側重點在 but also 后面的部分。請比較下面兩個句子譯文的詞序：
他不僅有一輛摩托車，而且還有一輛小汽車。
Hes got a car as well as a motorbike.
Hes got not only a motorbike but a car.
她不僅美麗而且聰明。
She is clever as well as beautiful.
She is not only beautiful but clever.
在使用 as well as 時還要注意以下幾個方面：
①盡管 as well as 也可連接兩個句子，但有時表示的是比較意義，而不是并列意義。如：
She sings as well as she plays.
她演奏得好，歌唱得也好。
②as well as 引導的句子不能出現(xiàn)在句首。例如，不可以說：
As well as he broke his leg, he hurt his arm.
他不僅斷了腿而且傷了胳膊。
③as well as 后跟動詞時，一律要用動詞的 -ing 形式。如：
She sings as well as playing the piano.
