During my summer holiday in 2003, I found a part-time job as a cleaner in KFC. I did not realize that it was not an easy job before I didit. I had to work seven hours a day, which would last three weeks. The job was tiring and boring because I had to get up early and went to bed late. Every day I had to repeat the same work, which nearly made me mad. I almost gave it up, but finally I sticked it out until thenew semester began. The experience taught me a lesson that there is no free lunch. I have to work hard to get what I want. So the experience is very meaningful and I know the value of labour.

　　 2003年暑假期間，我在KFC找到了一份保潔員的兼職工作。在做這份工作之前，我根本沒認(rèn)識(shí)到這份工作的艱辛。每天我要工作七個(gè)小時(shí)，為期三周。這份工作辛苦而且枯燥，因?yàn)槲也坏貌辉缙鹜硭Ｃ刻煳叶贾貜?fù)著同樣的工作，這樣的生活使我快要發(fā)瘋了。我差點(diǎn)就要放棄了，但是最終我堅(jiān)持下來了，直到新學(xué)期開學(xué)。這次工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)教會(huì)了我天下沒有免費(fèi)的午餐，我要努力爭取我所想要得到的。所以說那是一件非常有意義的事情，從中我認(rèn)識(shí)到了勞動(dòng)的價(jià)值所在。
