副詞性后綴：
-ly 地e.g. completely 完全地, really 真正地
-ward/-wards 向 e.g. backward 向后, upward向上
-wise 像的， 有。。特征e.g. clockwise 順時(shí)針的 , likewise 同樣地
作為基本詞匯的副詞在職稱英語(yǔ)的詞匯考題中也是頻繁出現(xiàn)：
在2002年職稱英語(yǔ)詞匯題部分出現(xiàn)：rarely, deliberately;
在2003年職稱英語(yǔ)詞匯題部分出現(xiàn)：evidently, up to now, accordingly, intimately, steadily
